General Information:
KCS, the only Christian school in the Kamloops region, is celebrating its 24th year of providing Christian Education to Kamloops and the surrounding area. Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for providing customer service to donors and sponsors via telephone and written correspondence. Other duties include but are not limited to:

Required skills:
At least two years of experience in a similar role. References required.
Ability, confidence and professionalism to communicate with donors.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
A self-starter with a high degree of initiative, able to work well both independently and in a team environment.
A positive and flexible can-do attitude, resourceful with problem-solving skills.
Must take direction easily, be well organized, and display initiative by helping to improve job functions.
Advanced skills in Microsoft¨ Office Suite (you must be comfortable with complex mail-merges from a database, and with being able to sort and print letters in specific orders).

Supervision of student teachers is also required of all education faculty.

Responsible for the development of new ministry initiatives, in conjunction with Ministry Director. Prepare any necessary contracts, proposals, etc. required for such initiatives.

Represents the Salvation Army in the community, with respect to issues pertaining to Weetamah Outreach Initiatives.

Cate's Hill Chapel Full Time Pastor
Cates Hill Chapel is a congregation of 70 members including children which is affiliated with the Open Brethren tradition. We are a biblically based, reflectively evangelical church comprised of believers from various traditions. We are seeking an applicant who has an appropriate degree and/or significant experience as a pastor. Our pastor should have strong gifts in biblical teaching, discipleship and the ability to equip others for service. Responsibilities would include providing pastoral care, officiating Sunday worship services, ministering alongside elders and deacons and administration. We desire a full time pastor who will help us serve, love, and practically engage our island. Cates Hill Chapel is located on beautiful Bowen Island, B.C. just a 20 minute ferry ride from Vancouver.
