Christian Info Society

The heart of Christian Info Society is unity. Our ministry is to promote and enhance unity and community within the Christian church in Canada.

Beginning in 1982 with a local Christian newspaper to serve the Greater Vancouver area, today CIS offers a variety of publications both local and national in scope and distribution.

Our website, www.CanadianChristianity.com which receives more than one million hits a month is updated weekly, and is a constant source of information on the Christian community, with regular news features, a Job Market and a directory of Christian churches and ministries in Canada from B.C. to Ontario.

We also publish a national magazine: Options: Choose Your Future, featuring post-secondary schools from across Canada and the U.S.A. This magazine is delivered in bulk to churches and other locations in cities across Canada.

Every month we publish BC Christian News, a newspaper serving southern British Columbia from Vancouver to Chilliwack, the Vancouver Island and the Thompson-Okanagan.

BC Christian News is packed with news and views from a Christian perspective, as well as a monthly testimony and an extensive arts and entertainment section. The newspaper is also a great source of Help Wanted and Classified ads.

Each month, we also feature supplements on various aspects of Christian community including education, camping, seniors, family, sanctity of life, health & wellness, faith & the family and others.

We also produce three Shepherd Guide directories - a yellow pages-style directory of local Christian businesses, ministries and churches. We produce a Metro Vancouver & Fraser Valley edition, a Vancouver Island edition and a Thompson-Okanagan edition.

Through the publications of Christian Info, we draw the church together into one place and show to all that we are one church, with one Lord and Saviour, all together serving in his name.
