Reaching the urban poor . . .

When Minnie’s parents both died of AIDS, the 15 year old was left in charge of her four siblings.

When Action International Ministries’ missionaries met her, she was in a desperate struggle to keep the family off the streets of Lusaka, Zambia.

If this could be accomplished, think of the grief they could be spared.

Daily, thousands of people enter the world’s cities – adding to the number of underprivileged and often exploited people. They are the poor in squatter areas, the unemployed, the street dwellers, those caught in various addictions.

For the past 30 years, Action has been committed to serve them.

They work primarily in major cities, in 20 countries – in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe.

More than 220 Action missionaries work with local Christians and their churches, in evangelism, discipleship and development.
