Watoto, which means ‘the children’ in Swahili, is a Christian non-profit organization which provides quality education and homes in a family environment for more than 1,700 orphaned and abandoned children in three Children’s Villages in Uganda, East Africa.

This coming September, Watoto invites you to consider attending the second Watoto Conference, ‘Hope for Africa’s Children,’ in Kampala, Uganda. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Watoto model, while in direct contact with the ministry. The conference in 2006 was attended by nearly 600 delegates from around the world.

The estimated price to attend is between $3,000 and $3,500 CND, depending on your departure city (Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver are available). This price includes airfare, transportation, accommodation, meals and conference registration fees. The option to go on a safari or to Gulu, Northern Uganda is available for an additional cost.

Special guests will include Darlene Zschech from Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia; Brian and Bobbie Houston; and Steven Curtis Chapman.
