We came to Barnabas on B.C.’s Keats Island for five summers, before joining full time staff.  

Waking up to an amazing view, with coffee brewing and breakfast being prepared, was incredible. All we had to do as parents was enjoy our family, and one another.  

In a typical day, we also enjoyed a wonderful speaker, great leaders for our kids, waterfront facilities, hiking – and ice cream at the General Store.  

What a unique way to spend a family holiday! We had more time as a couple, and as a family, than on any other vacation we have taken.

Barnabas also hosts Marriage Refreshment, Preparing for Marriage, Mother/Daughter, Father/Son, Recovery and Pastor/Spouse conferences.  

Stories continually emerge of couples met by God during their time here. Your family has a story, too. Why not let Barnabas be a chapter? If you’re like us, you’ll want that story to go on and on. It keeps getting better!         John & Sheena Wilson
