Help in the Middle East . . .

MEET isn't for everyone - but it could be for you. That is, if you are 18 - 35 years old, like encouraging and helping people, don't mind hot weather, aren't afraid of going where God sends you - and sense he is calling you to the Middle East.

Organized by Middle East Christian Outreach (MECO), which has been serving the church in Arabic-speaking nations for more than 140 years, MEET is designed to introduce you to Middle Eastern culture, while at the same time giving you an opportunity to serve the church overseas.

Isn't it risky going to the Middle East? No more than it was 2,000 years ago. To quote one of last year's team members: "This has been the most amazing month of my life. I won't say it's all been easy; but it has been such an incredible experience - through which God has changed me, and taught me so much."

This year's MEET participants will be working in a children's program through a church in Jordan. The program will focus on teaching English and sharing the love of God. English teachers are especially needed.

The cost to go out with MEET is $880 U.S. This fee will cover accommodation, food, local travel and sightseeing expenses for approximately four weeks - June 28 to July 25. Air travel is not included.
