Friendship Groups Canada is an interdenominational Christian ministry which embraces people with cognitive challenges - enabling them and the church of Christ to experience the fullness of God's love.

FGC believes everyone is created in God's image, and that redemption is a gift from God - not dependent upon any level of human intellect.

FGC's mission is to encourage and support individuals, churches or organizations who desire to reach out in their community and share God's love with those with intellectual disabilities, through training and program resources.

Currently, there are 155 Friendship groups across Canada, with more than 15 denominations offering the Friendship program and sharing God's love with more than 2,700 intellectually disabled friends.
