Telling the story of Jesus in 10,000 tongues . . .

The vision of reaching every language with the gospel began in 1939, when Joy Ridderhof, a missionary in Honduras, recorded her first message in Spanish. From this simple beginning the vision grew to encompass non-readers and unreached language groups.

Our mission, Global Recordings Network, has presented gospel messages in more than 5,600 different languages. National churches, evangelists and missionaries have used our materials around the world to reach oral societies with the gospel.

The 10K Challenge is a vision to see the gospel of Jesus Christ available in 10,000 languages in this generation. In order to reach this goal, we need to record Bible stories in another 4,400 languages to bring the total to the 10,000 mark.
