Music crossing borders
'Sing across the World' is a global music project launched by guitarist James Bryan, in partnership with World Vision. The project connects a group of St. Catherine's, Ontario high school music students from Laura Secord Secondary School with youth from a World Vision project in Dominican Republic. On May 29 the students from Laura Secord will join voices with young people from the Dominican Republic in a musical performance that transcends all borders. Last November, and with Bryan assisting as songwriter/producer, the two groups met online to write a song together. "'Sing Across the World' is the result of a life-long goal of mine: to bring young people together through music to affect positive change in the world," said Bryan.
