The State of the Canadian Church -- Part 1: The Church as we saw it

Comments

"Apparently beliefs still matter in church."

Well this is nice to know? But do they really matter for Protestant Evangelicals anymore? "Personal beliefs" matter a great deal, because after all its only our personal interpretation of faith that matters for most individualist Evangelicals. As for what the church believes, in terms of its historical confession, we could care less for the whole, though certain bits here and there are treasured. Why not undertake a more sustained analysis of the true situation in the Canadian ecclesia. If what follows this article is what will be, in the main, on offer then these articles themselves will say much, in terms of its shallowness, about the state of the church in Canada Come on! Get serious!
