Guitar Church playing on faith

Comments

I know that you're writing with a targeted audience of Christians here but don't you realize saying things like...

"I love it when we as Christians can reach out into the world, and people see that we love many of the same things they love -- but we're living a purpose-driven life."

...is patently offensive to those of us who don't find our purpose stemming from religion? Many people have purpose and drive, found internally, not culturally determined externally.

I'm happy you praise God by using your talents, but non-Christians have found purpose for themselves too. It's statements like this that alienate conservatives from those of us with more liberal notions.

Nathan, what is a "purpose-driven" life?
