Study shows Canada's divorce rates have declined

Comments

My father left my mother for another woman, trying to find true happiness. She then left him and now my father is living in regret. My mother is also suffering from loneliness but doesn't want my father back. In the midst of my parents being caught up with their own pain and issues, they did not realize how much pain the situation was causing me and how much I needed counselling and help. Children suffer far more from divorce than parents realize. I have forgiven my parents, God has been working healing in me. My father has found forgiveness and peace with God, but nevertheless the consequences of his decision are still with him today (aging without my mother). My point is that married couples need to be made aware of the pain that divorce causes to them *and* their children and that divorce will really not end their problems (unless there is domestic violence/abuse or substance abuse, in which case divorce may be the only option, for everyone's protection). Our society's emphasis on "rights" has caused people to be blinded to the negative effects of certain decisions (like divorce). How our country needs repentance back to God's ways!

Your link to that no marriage rant is nothing more than pure garbage.
To say that every marriage ends in financial ruin and is boring. Then to top it off it says that all women who want to marry or manipulating machines?!
There is absolutely no truth in that!
O.K. some one you know maybe even your parents went through a bad divorce. Whatever happened in that relationship is not usually relevant to ALL relationships.
That text is is from beginning to end depressing. It's depressing to think that someone would actually agree with it and post it here.
