Alliance University College and Nazarene University College, in Calgary, are becoming a single entity – with a new name: Ambrose University College.

The name is a reference to Ambrose of Milan, a fourth century Christian. He left his mark as a hymn writer, preacher and pastor – and also as an educator. He is best known for leading St. Augustine to faith, and for his strong defence of orthodox Christology.   www.auc-nuc.ca
