Taylor University College is a Christian liberal arts college in the evangelical tradition, affiliated with the North American Baptist denomination. The student body is multi-denominational, with more than 20 different groups represented each academic year.

Offering educational opportunities in Edmonton for more than 65 years, Taylor has programs in Business, Christian Studies, Education, English, General Studies, Intercultural Studies, Leadership, Music, Psychology, Religion and Theology, Social Sciences, Worship Arts and Youth Work.

As an accredited institution in Alberta, Taylor University College grants 3-year and 4-year Bachelor of Arts degrees – and we provide our students university transfer programs, applied emphases, specializations and certificates.

Taylor degrees and programs are enriched through co-educational programs which nurture the whole person – outside, as well as inside, the classroom. Spiritual formation opportunities provided through the campus ministries department include community-wide chapel gatherings, small group studies and ministry projects.

Students also have opportunities to grow through service-learning experiences; learning communities within the residence program; faculty-student clubs and organizations; and music and drama productions. Taylor employs a professional career counsellor to assist students, as they discern and explore their career interests.

Taylor University College fields varsity athletic teams for men and women in volleyball, basketball and futsal (indoor soccer).  Intramural athletics teams and events are open to all students, and include a diverse range of sports such as dodge ball, ice hockey, floor hockey, ultimate Frisbee and three-on-three basketball.

Students participate in multiple leadership roles within student government and campus organizations. At Taylor, we bring the best of human understanding into engagement with the best theological reflection – in order to develop Christ-minded leaders, who make a difference in the world.
