Speakers included Chief Bobby Joseph (pictured left),
retired executive director of the B.C. Indian Residential Schools
Survivors’ Society; and National Indigenous Anglican Bishop Mark
MacDonald.
Remembering the Children (originally called Sacred
Walk) was part of a multi-city tour to promote the TRC. Online at rememberingthechildren.ca, a
number of church leaders share reflections – including
Presbyterian Hans Kouwenberg, Anglican Fred Hiltz, and the United
Church’s David Giuliano.
