Marxism deceptive

Regarding ‘A journey from Marxism to Catholicism’ (October):

As your story said, a communist will never admit to being one – which is why they are so dangerous.

However, they are also so very foolish in easily leaving their calling cards.

The communist trade unions in Britain successfully shut down almost all of Britain’s factories; so now Britain makes and exports very little.

Nevertheless, for a long while, Britain has had the best economy in Europe.

This is largely because worldwide investors can trust the safety of their funds in Britain.

This is not good news for those who support communism.

Article was inaccurate

Thank you for ‘Retreat centre to help stressed-out leaders’ (December). Unfortunately, a few details were incorrect.

The vision for the Honeymoon Bay retreat centre was born in Tim and Karla Erickson, founders of the Rosebud School of the Arts. I joined the management team after Tim and Ken Smith had forged a partnership to develop the project.

Tim is executive director, and I assist him as marketing director, and project manager for one of the construction crews.

The original site envisioned for the retreat was on a 32-acre portion of land in Chemainus. The present site in Honeymoon Bay is on three acres.

Thirdly, talks with some faculty at Royal Roads University have been of a very casual nature, and concern only the use of the retreat project as a case study for a master’s cohort.
