Putting red tape to good use
Bound4Life has local chapters all over America (and in other nations) that are
holding ‘Silent Sieges’ and corporate prayer gatherings at least once a month. A new branch recently
opened in Kelowna, and staged its first silent ‘prayer siege’ November 21, outside Kelowna General Hospital.
Participants simply stood in a line – each with red tape over their mouths, imprinted with the word ‘Life.’
“We’re not protesting anything; the tape kind of stops anyone from doing that,” organizer Dusty Reid told Kelowna.com. She added: “We’re out here praying and interceding on behalf of our nation, and also unborn
babies that don’t have a voice.” The second of a proposed series of monthly protests was staged December 20.

Interloc
Interloc is an initiative of New Life Church in Kelowna. Its website says
Interloc is designed to “facilitate and strengthen the cords of intercession within the body of Christ.”
The aim is to enable God to launch “his intercessors into ‘frontline’ positioning, to provide a locking of arms to prevent the ‘gates of hell’ from prevailing.”
This would come about through worldwide prayer teams. More information is
available January 4, 7 pm, at the church, 2041 Harvey Avenue (Highway 97). Info: newlife.bc.ca.
