‘SUFFERING for the Gospel’ is the theme for this year’s edition of reFocus Canada.The event takes place April 7 – 9 at Willingdon Church in Burnaby.

Billed as a ‘preaching and theology conference for  pastors and seminary students,’ the gathering will feature former federal opposition leader Preston Manning. The author of Think Big, Manning founded the Reform Party; he was also declared a Companion of the Order of Canada.

Making a return engagement is John Piper. He is a widely respected preacher, and author of books such as Desiring God, Seeing and Savoring Jesus Christ  and God is the Gospel.

Other speakers will be traditional Anglican Charles Masters; Bruce Ware, author of God’s Greater Glory; and Willingdon senior pastor John Neufeld.
