David F. Dawes: ‘Giving voice to Darfur’s young’ –1st place, News Story.

Fred Peter: ‘The light shines in the darkness’ – 1st place, Original Art.

John Cody: ‘The tragedy – and triumph – of Judee Sill’ – 3rd place, Biographical Profile.

Fellowship of Christian Newspapers awards:

Marja Bergen: ‘No longer alone in struggle with mood disorders’ – 2nd place, First-Person Article.

Peter T. Chattaway: ‘Dark Materials: How the Grinch stole God’ – 2nd place, Editorial.

John Cody: ‘Ex-Korn member on being saved, from himself’ – 3rd place, Interview Article.
