The popular fall women’s retreat has been taking place for many years at Stillwood Camp & Conference Centre in Lindell Beach. This year’s event, October 15 – 17, will feature Joanne Goodwin of Sarnia, Ontario, speaking on ‘Flying Above Your Circumstances.’

Goodwin has a unique ability to share her experiences with a transparency and humour that leaves her audiences laughing, crying and encouraged. She combines her personal story of recovery from lifelong depression and tragic circumstances in the life of her daughter with a powerful gospel presentation.

Worship music for the weekend will be led by Crystal Hicks, pastor of worship arts at Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church.

Stillwood offers other activities: a zipline and ropes course, massage, eyebrow threading, line dancing, karaoke, beading and card-making.
