Salt of the Earth: A Christian Seasons Calendar, produced by University Hill Congregation in Vancouver, marks the seasons of the year as seen through the biblically based festivals celebrated by Christians since the early days of the church.

The calendar uses images to emphasize Christian concepts – beginning with Advent and ending with Season after Pentecost.

According to TheChristianCalendar.com, “Our secular calendar has its beginning with the Roman Empire where on January 1 Roman state officials took office. The Christian calendar is to be a daily reminder that we are first citizens of the kingdom of God and secondly citizens of the state and culture.”
