|
A HOUSE church leader in Henan province, China, has
been sentenced to a year at a labour camp. China Aid Association (CAA) says
five church leaders were detained in October during a church gathering. One
of them, pastor Zhu Baoguo, first received 15 days of detention.
However, two days after Zhu was released, he was
sentenced to one year of “re-education through labour.” CAA
says he was charged with being a leader of “an evil cult.”
His family and church have not been able to determine
where he is being held. According to his family members, the pastor suffers
from heart disease. –
