Heather Clarkleads services at The Feast Community Church, in Kam-loops. She is one of B.C.’s most prolific recording artists, and has written a wide variety of scripture-based worship songs. Her CDs include Selah, Sacred Mysteryand Undivided Focus.  

The latest  CD by Andy Park, Unshakeable provides further evidence that he is one of the most accomplished wor-ship songwriters around. Perhaps best known for ‘The River is Here,’ he has been a worship leader at several B.C. churches, including North Langley Vineyard.

Ron Klusmeier serves as a composer and arranger at Knox United Church in Parksville. His work has been published by more than 75 denominations.  He has recorded several albums, and participated in international ecumenical initiatives involving music. Earlier this year, he was nominated as moderator of the United Church of Canada.

Johnny Markin’s CD, Restore My Soulis a showcase for the upbeat style of music he provides as pastor of worship and the arts at Northview Community Church in Abbotsford. The church’s Hear from Heaven CD was nominated for three Covenant Awards, including one for  Markin’s composition, ‘God is Our Refuge.’

True to Life is the latest CD by Norm Strauss; it is his 14th solo project. Now director of Canada West School of Worship, he also provides musical leadership at Kelowna Vineyard Church. He has toured extensively over the years.

Chilliwack-based singer / songwriter Debbie Fortnumleads worship and speaks at various conferences. Her most high-profile CD is To Love and Be Loved. All told, her various releases have garnered her 14 award nominations, and two awards. She has released a series of piano-based CDs recently.

Stephen Toon is the new worship arts pastor at Surrey Alliance Church. Prior to his appointment, he served at Vancouver’s Tenth Avenue Alliance – and its plant, Mosaic. Toon has released several CDs, and has co-written a song with Vineyard’s Andy Park –         which is featured on his latest album, Open Up.

Tim McCarthy has been associate director of student ministries at Trinity Western University for the past 11 years. He is responsible for a daily chapel and a Friday praise time. He also mentors nine worship arts leaders. They see between 150 and 800 attend the chapel gatherings, and over the years have released three CDs.
