HARBOUR LIFE Media Inc. has announced that its popular radio show, Today’s Family with Beth Warden, is entering syndication. The family-friendly program, which originates from Victoria, will
now be available to stations across North America.
Today’s Family is an evening show featuring music, listeners’ phone calls, human interest anecdotes, prizes and interviews with authors such
as Max Lucado, Gary Chapman, as well as Veggie Tales’ creator Mike Nawrocki.
The four hour daily program is primarily aimed at women with children at home.
According to a press release, the program was launched in 2007 “out of a vision to see listeners have a way to interact with an on-air host while enjoying family friendly music in the
evenings.”
“I’ll never forget getting the call from Malcolm Hunt,” said Warden, referring to the network program director of Touch Canada
Broadcasting. “He said he had an idea for a show. What a great idea it was, and what an amazing opportunity it has turned out to be.”
To add value to the program and create audience engagement, listeners have the opportunity to win books, DVDs and other family
resources through a nightly prize drawing.
Warden welcomed the expansion of the program’s listenership. “I look forward to connecting with new listeners in additional cities.” She said she derives much fulfillment from her work.
