Tiger Lily Christmas
Tiger Lily Farm, near Parksville, is encouraging
Vancouver Island families to share the Christmas story – as it is
acted out, complete with live animals, running from December 20 to
Christmas Eve, at its popular location on the road from Parksville to
Englishman River Falls.
Dubbed ‘Christmas in the Country,’ the
experience has become an annual pre-Christmas activity. Hay rides or sleigh
rides – depending on the weather – will culminate in hot
chocolate.
There are donkeys, lambs and other Christmas-related
animals on hand. And the Christmas story itself can be shared in the
farm’s reading area. More info, including the cost of admission, is
available at tigerlilyfarm.ca.
